  1. Can i plug this to one of the inputs on my black magic Switcher in order to have different cameras using only one source?

  2. It's fantastic, Television today is technology, everything is very fast and outside of technology there will be more broadcasters.

  3. If you want to live stream to YouTube or Facebook & are at an event that doesn't have a a wifi signal would getting the iPad w/ cellular work well?

  4. How about latency with the video transmitters? would you see a delay if you stream video from a wireless camera and audio from the line input on the box? If yes is it fixable like adding a delay to the audio in order to match the video? Thanks in advance

  5. Thanks for the nice video!
Question: both for inside broadcasting, but also for covering live sports games or conferences, say with 2-3 video inputs (2 cameras DSLR with wifi capabilities and a smartphone), wirelessly!!! do you believe it is better to buy 1. Sling , 2. Live U Solo or 3. sth from Blackmagic? What is the best combination of price/features for my case?
Thank you in advance for the help, and post links if you can guys/Caleb!

  6. We are using the Teradek system, which cost a lot and sometimes drop the video signal when using mobile hotspots. I really like what I've seen in this video and will definitely consider this system. Thanks

  7. Why my canon eos rebel t3 ,don't stay on ,when I use sling studio, or maybe this canon I can't used it for this

  8. Thanks for a great review. I'm looking at solutions because I'm hating #mevocamera #livestream right now. They price gouge and everything is proprietary.

  9. How do you send out on cellular if no wi-fi or hard wire Ethernet is available? Has you or anyone used this with a padcaster setup yet?

  10. If any of you want to learn how to use the SlingStudio for live theatre, check this out:

  11. Purchased slingstudio and was super excited initially . Connected 1X 5dmarkiv and 2X 5d mark iii but when i pressed recording on my camera , i could see red dot appearing on the slingstudio aswell. how do i stop that, I would like to record on my camera too with builtin memory on camera. Also i could see the camera settings on the sling studio footage on my ipad ,whichever is displayed on my live view on camera . this very annoying.
    Can you please help
    very annoying.please help

  12. It would appear to me that any DSLR that has the HDMI out would work with the wireless camera link. That said, I shoot with Canon 70D's and they do not appear on the compatability list. The Chat that I had with SlingStudio online was discouraging because they wouldn't committ to the 70D.

What do ya think? Optimistic? TIA

  13. I want one for weddings I have questions. I"m assuming from what you are telling me the hub brings the cameras together, but I would still need an internet connection? Am I right on that? Also I thought it had to only be an Apple IPad to do the previewing and changing the angles of the live feed

  14. Hello, i want to setup two camera links , one camera with hdmi directly into sling studio hub, and one external line in mic for audio, will there be any sync issues between, camera link connected cameras and line in mic? i want to live stream, and its a local dance show, so it is not acceptable that line in audio and camera link video is out of sync, if there is any delay its okay, but audio and video should be in sync, guys please help me

  15. Thank you for your video.
Question: I have a music band.I wanna build live stream system.
gears: 1 dslr + 3 GoPro hero, Clean audio output from mixer. how do I live stream which those gear? I need your recommendation. Thank you.

  16. Hi, quick question. What equipment were you using to film this review? Specifically the intro where you're in front of some shelving. The image, lighting, color & sound are all super amazing! I'm wondering what equipment you were using to film it if you can recall: camera model, audio equipment, lighting, etc. Did you have to do a lot of stuff in post? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks again! – Matt Greek

  17. Hi, I am interested in livestreaming 5 cameras, and make a 5 individual livestreaming for each one of them. do you know how can i do that?

  18. Hey there.. Thank you for the overview of the device. I'm a fellow content producer here on YouTube and I'm always looking for ways to do more with less. I want to do more live work but often need 2 cameras, preferably picture in picture, to really capture what I'm doing. This looks like it would do the trick. I also help our ministry out with there AV needs and we are getting all our fellowships up on FaceBook live. This looks like it would be very useful if we used static cameras vs Mevo cameras which we are using now. I'll see if I can pull together what we need cash wise to setup a 4 camera install and maybe it will go as well as you demonstrated here.

  19. Caleb, can you output the HDMI output to a video feed (like going into a projector)? I would like to use the SlingStudio to be the video mixer that would then output all the feeds to one send toward the screen. Would this work?

  20. Thanks for doing this helpful review. How long is the delay. I’m thinking about getting this for my church. But I would need to use the Hdmi out to run the feed to several monitors around the church for praise and worship lyrics. So is the hdmi out feed the same as the livestream feed?

  21. i Want To Know More About The Sport Event Shooting Like Snooker
How To Shoot That Using Sling Studio With 3 Dslrs Any Recommendation For Lenses
should I Use Full Frame Or Apsc Sensor Camera Please Have A Look At It
Just Only By Typing Here In Youtube "Mark Selby Best Shots"
Give Me A Favour Tell Me How They Are Braodcasting The Snooker

  22. I’m trying to connect a canon T6 1300D to my slingstudio with the cameralink (HDMI cable) but the video on that comes out, does not fill up the screen on the slingstudio. It’s only mirroring the LiveView also, the Camera’s LCD turns off. This review shows the video at a full 16:9 ratio and the LCD on the camera does not turn off. What am I missing? What am I doing wrong? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

  23. My only concern with a WiFi set up, is if you at a venue with 200 other mobile phones I think you going to have stability issues ?

  24. Since I don't have $2,500 I am using Mevo. It cost me $300 and it has worked great from my iphone. I have shot from home and I have shot bands outside. But this seems great upgrade option once I have the money. It is important to plug in a good audio from a mixer and not from the iphone. If I am broadcasting from home, the iphone audio is fine.

  25. hi i have canon mark 4 will that record pass 30 mins and i have a Sony pow x70 could not get a signal into sling studio and canon xc10 works find do any body has that answer

  26. Thanks for the review. How do I livestream to my church website since it can only the facebook or youtube? you can check it out

  27. Hey! It was nice meeting you at VidSummit. Also, I’ve been meaning to bring live streaming, or broadcasting, to the high school I teach at. This has been something I’m researching. Have you tried this out in the field…like football field?

  28. Can a wireless controller be added to this device and to the camera to turned them on and start recorded wirelessly?

  29. Thanks for the video. It seems like a really interesting solution though the wireless setup makes me nervous.

Do they have a desktop app or a way to link into something like wirecast if you'd like to add pre-recorded media or packaged promo bits etc?

    Appreciate your insight

  30. So if I want to do a one camera IRL wireless livestream is this what I should use? Also does it run off you phone data?

  31. Great video! I'm curious if this could be used for a local high school football game. Is there anyway to replay back 30 seconds on the camera during livestream? Or would you need to have a separate piece of hardware like an EVS to make it happen?

  32. I just bought this SlingStudio and have some technical questions. Tried to call tech support from SlingStudio. But they can’t even know what to do for help. Since watching your clip here very much solves most of the problems and questions I need. I think they need to pay u a big bucks since their support teams are suck !,,

  33. Great Review. Thank you! So, I'm in except how easy is it to get the stream online at say YouTube or Facebook and/or Vimeo or one's own website "live?" Any set up tutorials that you know therein? Or do you have one that shows how to do this for each of the respective stream locations?

  34. Thanks for the Video , I am using this now on the GB4HAM Communication unit for my Stream to promote Amateur Radio , thanks again. just need to save for a cameralink box now

  35. Hi Caleb, Great video. I just get into doing live events for sporting events where the overlays are important. Just out of curiosity do the overlays save to the video while live streaming. I know the plateform will say a copy of the game however using the sd cards in the device would it save the live event with overlays?

  36. So you can use this without going live? I need something like this with multiple camera angles but not necessarily live! Thanks for this great video!

  37. Im a freelance cameraman Ive been apart of hundreds of live and recorded corporate productions over the years You've answered my question regarding getting the cameras to look the same color-wise but Im still curious as to intercom and tally I would assume in a multicam situation you still need to direct your camera personel even if you have one one camera person and lock down the others. Im wondering if sling is going to come up with a integrated solution.Great review CW.

  38. We just started using SLING STUDIO in my Church. But we still confuse about adding graphics (logo of the Church on the live stream, text with different colours & borders). How can do it if there is any REVIEW?

  39. Hi Caleb, great video! I was searching in youtube for someone who have a in-deep description about this system because we are going to be streaming a sports show during the 2019 NFL season, so thank you for that. Also, I just backed your invention "The SwitchPod". Stavros

  40. hello, how are you? I watch your video on the live stream. I need to start a live stream for the church. can you tell me what equipment I need to do that? What kind of camera can I used

  41. I'm using my Cannon EOS Rebel T17 But I can't get it to link to the Sling Studio. there must be a step I'm missing, if you have knowledge please share

  42. Can the output video signal be sent to another live mixer?? Or you must stream to YouTube. Does it have the option to send the output signal to another video mixer hardware??

  43. Did you try the SlingStudio with the Canon 80D? Im looking to upgrade my camera from a t5i to something that will work with this device.

  44. Question. Can I project to a big screen when I am streaming?
I would like to stream and at the same time project in a big screen in a hotel in real time.
