How To Upload Custom Thumbnail To Your Instagram Videos || JUST STARTED || Instagram Thumbnail Maker

unlike YouTube Instagram doesn’t allow
its users to upload a custom thumbanil to their videos so for example if you have
an image which isn’t a part of your video you won’t be able to make it a
thumbnail of your video which means most people won’t even click on your
video if it isn’t appealing to them so in this video I’ll tell you how can you
get any image as a thumbnail on your Instagram hey what’s up guys before we get to the
trick I’ll show you how you normally choose your thumbnail on Instagram so
you get into the app click that plus icon choose a video if you click Next
Next and share it’ll pick first frame of your video as a thumbnail by default so
for example if you have a video that starts with fade in your default your will
be black which even appealing at all but if you click on cover here you can crop
a still from your video and make it a thumbnail so this will be your first
impression across Instagram but sometimes you want to add some text to
it or maybe a completely different image which isn’t a part of your video but
completely convey your message all at once so to do it all you need is a video
editing software and don’t worry if you’ve never edited a single video in
your life this stick with me till the end so as I said earlier Instagram
doesn’t allow you to upload anything which isn’t a part of your video so now
we will make it the part of your video so what you will do is pick an image
that you want as a thumbnail add some text if you want or you can edit it
separately like you generally do in your smartphone and then bring it back to the
video editing now the trick begins and your image and the video to the timeline
of your video editor place the image at the beginning of your video and make it
as tiny as possible once you’ve done that you’re ready to go
export it basically the smallest unit of your farm line is one frame and
generally one second consists of 24 to 30 frames which means adding one extra
frame will not affect the length of your video plus it will be appealing enough
to attract your audience alright that’s it for now if you enjoy
the video click the like button for me and hit that subscribe button too if you
haven’t already meanwhile you might be interested in a video on powerful

  1. This is how I add a custom thumbnail to my Instagram videos using Cute cut pro :

Step 1: install cute cut pro.
Step 2: Create a new project and add your video that you want to put your thumbnail into.
Step 3: add your thumbnail as an image layer under your video and then cut it really small until it's about 1/5th of a second
    (about 4-5 frames long).
Step 4: export your video and you're DONE!
