Fix Working Offline Problem in Outlook 2016

Do you ever have this problem in Outlook
2016 or 2013 where it shows Working Offline. I’ll show you how to fix it. It’s
a fairly common problem to run into this working offline indicator at the bottom
of Outlook. Simple fix for that. All you have to do is go to Send/Receive and
click this Work Offline button and it will reconnect back into exchange.
Now if you have any problems connecting that could be an indicator that your .ost
file is corrupt or that you’re actually not online and connected to your network. Now you might ask why is there a Work Offline button anyway. The reason why
it’s there is so that when you’re not on your network and you want to disconnect,
carry your laptop somewhere on a plane, whatever where you don’t have
connectivity you can actually work offline and it stores that data in an
offline file location so that when you reconnect to the network it’ll go back
online and then send and receive all the mail. Occasionally Work Offline gets
stuck and you have to come in here and manually select the Work Offline button
to turn it back on and that’s the simple fix. Now if you do have problems with
your .ost file I encourage you to take a look at my other video that tells you
how to solve the .ost problem. Hey, if you want to see more videos like this one
